Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to bring to your notice that I was travelling from New Delhi to Haridwar by ABCbus (Bus # DLAC AB1234) on December 1st. I boarded the night bus at 9 PM from Connaught place. My suitcase was kept in the luggage compartment on the bus and I reached my destination station at 6AM. When I collected my luggage, I found that my suitcase was damaged badly due to mishandling of the luggage.
My suitcase was of 24 inches big red colored Samsonite bag with 4 wheels. It was a brand-new suitcase which I bought for 9000 rupees for this trip only. It is because of your staff’s negligence and mishandling that my new suitcase has become broken and unusable.
I request you to reimburse me the cost of the suitcase which is Rs. 9000 as a compensation of mishandling my luggage. Please let me know if there are any formalities to claim the same and then I will also share you my bank details for money transfer.
