I am writing this letter to express my apology as I can not appear for the interview scheduled on 15th August 2016 and would like to request to postpone to the later date.
My name is Swati and I applied for the job of System Engineer in your reputed company in response to which this interview was scheduled. I would like to request to reschedule it on or after 20th August, as I had an unfortunate accident with my car two days ago. Not only my leg is fractured but also got stitches on my head. Doctor advised taking 15 days full bed rest.
I would never request this delay if I was not in this miserable situation. This job is very important for me as it is my dream job to work for a brand name. I would be grateful if you could help me out in this matter. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
