Right from the beginning of the Hollywood movies till the modern times, films are considered benficial for giving outstanding contribution in many countries progress.lt is claimed by a host of people that showing movies from other Nations is superficial. While, others including me believe that there will be a threat of extinction for local culture by doing so. Both the aspects will be explained in the following paragraphs before writing a conclusion.
It cannot be denied that the notion of showing foreign pictures took great preference of people. The most vital among the factors responsible for this is that watching foreign films can pave the ways for individuals for learning international languages and exploration of distinct cultures can also be done through this. For example, it is estimated that nearly 55% Indian dwellers prioritised Hollywood movies over Indian films owing to the knowledge they received from them. Hence it is enough to make it clear that why a group of people supported this view point.
On the contrary side, although displaying international movies largely preferred by many people. However, there are other individuals who are against them because of certain reasons. The imperative factor behind this is that the trend of foreign films can lead the extinction of culture and people will be compelled to adopt other cultures due to having impression of these films on themselves. For instance, in Pakistan, there are several spots where traditions and cultures have extincted only because of foreign film industry which constantly spreading in this country. Therefore, it can be said that local culture are on the verge of disappearance.
In conclusion, after analysing both the view points about showing foreign movies from my mind, watching films from other Nations could be useful for people to some extent. However, the time is not far when people feel disappointment without gaining anything by lossing their precious cultures.
