Edmontosaurs Migration

Essay topics:

Edmontosaurs Migration

Regarding the reading, there are several reasons support the Edmontosaurs migration. In contrast, the professor refutes all of the author's reasons based on three concrete pieces of evidences.

First, that the lack of the plants got the Edmontosaurs to leave the cold climate in the winter, based on what the reading claims, is refuted by the professor. He states that since, the sun shined around 24 hours during the summer, broadly the climate was warmer than today in that specific area. The fact of the matter is that such high temperature in summer provided plant with the ability to grow massively. Therefore dead plants left useful nutrition for animal even during winter.

Second, the reading states that Edmontosaur migrated in herds which entailed their migration's feasibility. Quite the reverse, the professor believes that this kind of movement is not just because of migration. Indeed, thanks to this approach- migration in herds- animals empower themselves against predators. For instance, there is a kind of herbivorous animal that while they move together in herds, they never migrate either.

Third, according to the reading their physical abilities let them migrate through such distances. The professor casts doubt on this issue by saying that the less the ages of Edmontosaur, the less the physical abilities. To illustrate more, should they choose to migrate, they would prefer to stay in the same site and not to leave their babies alone during winter time.
