The speaker in the listening counters these indications by mentioning that there was no evidence that collagen lasted long in fossils above 100000 years. However, in the author's point of view, 70-million-years old T.rex's fossil could contain collagen. Hence, the discovery of collagen might have caused by researchers' hand skins who was examining this fossil.
