TPO 04_ Integrated task

The passage claims that dinosaurs like mammals are endotherm and provides three reasons of support. However the lecture claims that endotherms are not in dinosaurs and opposes each of the reasons.

First, the passage avers that some fossils shows that this animals were endotherms. The professor refutes this point. she explains that because of change in environment, animals usually change their habitat from cold place to warmer one. She claims that it is not true to judge exsistance of body temperature mechanism with this concept in dinosaurs.

Second, The passage asserts that dinosaurs have leg under their body and it is a good reason to belive that they are endotherms. Nevertheless, the professor cast doubt on this point by saying that it is only relates to their physical situation. She explains that dinosaurs are heavy and due to that they must have powerfull legs to walk.she explains that large size make them to have legs under their body and its doesnt have any correlation to body temprature.

Finally, The reading claims that the connection between dinosaurs bone's structure and Harvesian canals can be infered as a symptom that they are endotherm. Nonetheless, the professor opposes this point. She explains that bone Haversian canal are related to their growth. In different period, wether the weather is cold or warm it differs. She believes that It is not true to guess if they are endotherm or not through this characteristics because it always changes in different climate situation.
