The reading states that there are some causes of Little Ice Age and provides three reasons of support. The professor, however, explains that the author's arguments are out of date and refutes each of author's reason.
First, the reading claims that the cooling may have been caused by disrupting of ocean currents. The professor contends this point by saying that disrupting of ocean currents was occured only in EU and North of america. He says that it did not happend in Newziland, Africa.
Second, the reading states that the Little Ica age originates from volcanic eruption. The professor refutes this point by saying that although there were enough dust to cooler the earth, it did not so much that become the Little Ica Age. He mentions an example of colorful sunligh to illustrate this. He also says that it was not strong dust need to results in global decreasing tempreture.
Third, the reading states that considerable decreases in human population may have contributed to the cooling of the climate. The professor refutes this point by saying that human population was high in that time regard to previous. And so it was not be enough to results in climate decreasing.
