The reading states that a silver coin discovered at a Native American archaelogical site was not a genuine coin and provides three reasons of support. The proessor, howevere, explains that the coin is not a fake and refutes each the author's reasons.
First, the reading claims that the Native American site is far from other sites. The professor refutes this point by stating that the great distance is not a good reason. She says that Natives may traveled to the North America. Besides, the professor mentions that they could travel back.
Second, the reading states that other coins did not found in the site. The professor contends that not founding other coins is not necessary. She says that they may come back to Europe and pack up all coins.
Third, the reading states that silver coins would most likely be useless to them. The professor refutes this point by saying that Natives was appealing to the coins because of their beauty. She also mentions that Native may interested in the coins.
