Writing Task 1
The map illustrates developments to Tarnagul, which is located near Melbourne. The 3 maps depicts pictures from the year 1900, 1950 and 2000 respectively.
To illustrate the given map there are notable changes in the said span. The area and the use of various places changed drastically. However the river is still present for 100 years.
Firstly, area which was used for dairy in 1900, had been changed to lemons and Grapefruit in 1950, and finally to Wildlife Sanctuary in 2000. The road passes through the Town Area in all the three pictures. Whereas there had been significant increase and decrease in the Town Area from 1900 to 2000.
Secondly Oranges which were present near the river remained in 1950 but was unused in 2000. the Mandarins which was present near the river and the road in the 1900 had been changed to Oranges in 1950 and the area shrunk in size and was not in use in 2000. There were tracks which crossed across the road with parking shed in 1950. Though the tracks were removed local museum, craft market, tourist shop and park is seen in 2000.
