C2 Education, the nation’s fastest growing network of tutoring and test preparation centers, will host the second installment of their new online SAT strategy series, “Beat the SAT: Tips from the Experts”. This series is intended to augment C2 Education’s monthly college admission webinars, which provide students and parents with guidance regarding various aspects of the college admission process.
The first SAT strategy session, hosted by C2 Education’s Director of Digital Learning Benjamin Yun, has been incredibly popular among high school students hoping to take the SAT in the upcoming school year. The first installment of "Beat the SAT", and all of C2 Education's past college admission webinars, is available online through C2 Education's webinar catalog.
The second installment of “Beat the SAT” will air on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST. Host Edward Kim began teaching with C2 Education in 2009. As one of C2 Education’s most experienced teachers, he was selected to become a Regional Teacher Trainer, responsible for the professional development of C2 Education’s southeast teachers. Currently, Mr. Kim is the Director of Curriculum Development, responsible for the creation of C2 Education’s unique line of test preparation curriculum, including materials for the SAT, ACT, SSAT, and ISEE.
Mr. Kim’s extensive test preparation background makes him the perfect host for “Beat the SAT: Tips from the Experts”. In this second installment, Mr. Kim will give participants a free sample of a C2 Education SAT session, including specific strategies for some of the most difficult topics in the Reading, Writing, and Math sections of the SAT. He will conclude the event with a series of general test taking tips and strategies that have helped hundreds of C2 Education students improve their scores.
“There are a lot of resources available to help students tackle specific question types or topics,” Mr. Kim says, “but these resources often fail to provide unique insight into the art of test taking. Over the years, I’ve seen hundreds of students improve their scores by mastering certain test taking habits and practices, and I hope to share some of these strategies with participants in the new Beat the SAT session.”
The “Beat the SAT” strategy session is free of charge, but advanced registration is required. Registration is now available online.
