Average House Prices
The bar chart compares and contrasts the changes of house prices in five distinct cities measured in percentage change from 1989 prices in a 12 year period, from 1990 to 2002.
Generally speaking, the average house prices increased in all cities except in which of Frankfurt, a German city, from the 1990 - 1995 to 1995 - 2002 time period.
Looking at New York, Madrid, Tokyo and London, the house prices in New York and London displayed drastic inclines from -5% to 5% and from -7% in 1990 - 1995 average to 12% in 1995 - 2002 average respectively.
On the other hand, in years of 1990 to 2002, minor growths can be seen in the house prices in “Madrid” and “Tokyo”. Though the overall rises are similar in both countries, the house price in 1989 in the former was lower than the 1990 - 1995 average price as well as 1995 - 2002 average price. By contrast, which of the latter was higher than the same average prices.
