The bar and line chart below describe the correlation between the number of Japanese going overseas and the percentage of Japanese coming to Australia in 1985 to the next ten years.
Generally, what have been given in both graphs indicate that the increasing number of Japanese foreign in Australia was caused by the higher number of Japanese travellers going abroad.
The beginning of this issue was happened in the first five years as there was a gradual increase starting with approximately five millions Japanese travelling abroad. At the moment, the Australia’s share of Japan’s tourist market was seemly added. The number was fluctuating in the beginning of the 90’s before it reached their highest peak in the middle of the same decade. Even though most of increasing processes were similar in both issues, there were some years when Japanese tourists did not match with the Australia’s share such as 1989 and 1994.
