The graph below shows the percentage change in the number of international students graduating from universities in different Canadian province between 2001 and 2006.
The bar chart showed the percentage of alumnus overseas student from several Canadian provinces between 2001 and 2006.
Overall, the proportion of overseas students graduating increased in most of provinces in 2006, except one province showed that the proportion of alumnus international student went down during five years.
More detailed look at the data revealed that the highest percentage of data alumnus international was in New Brunswick which rose from 7 percent in 2001 to approximately 12 percent in 2006. It was followed by Nova Scotia with proportion of alumnus overseas student increased significantly from over 6 percent to over 11 percent. The proportion of overseas students graduating in Quebec went up from around 6 percent to just over 8 percent.
However, Manitoba and Newfoundland & Labrador was of same percentage of overseas students graduating between 2001 and 2006, increased from just approximately 4 percent to around 7 percent. Then, the percentage of overseas students graduating in Ontario was rise from 3 percent to 6 percent.
Interestingly, Alberta was the one mere province which showed decrease percentage of overseas students graduating, declined from approximately 6 percent to around 4 percent during five years. Then, British Columbia showed significant increase, rose from over 4 percent to approximately 11 percent.
