The bar chart below gives information about water use in China, USA, Russia and Australia in 2010.
The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of water used for three different purposes among four selected countries in 2010.
In general, China experienced the highest percentage of water consumption for Agriculture. Meanwhile, water used for Industry was the lowest portion in Australia.
As can be seen clearly from the chart, over 80 percent of water was used for Agriculture in China, while figures for this used in the USA and Russia just were a half and a third in turn. Additionally, Russia consumed 60 percent of water for Industry, whereas China and Australia just used 10 percent in total.
Another noticeable point from the chart is that water for Industrial use in the USA and Russia made up the largest figures by 40 percent and 60 percent respectively. By contrast, the figure for Industrial use in Australia took the smallest by just roughly 5 percent, in comparison with the biggest for Domestic use in the same country.
