The bar chart displays how occupations were distributed by English citizens in both genders in the year of 2005. It can be clearly seen that men were mostly interested in management and technical aspect, meanwhile women tended to be keen on doing common office tasks.
In details, the most striking figure was the huge discrepancy in genders probability in skill-trades, with approximately 15% more of males than females. In contrast, women dominated in writing office task, especially in administrative and secretarial, which reached a peek at 22% respectively. Meanwhile, the amount of men participated in this aspect was only 5%.
On the other hand, professional, technical and elementary were the three considerably segments that have the same amount of employees by both genders due to the small difference in probability, in the range of 12% - 15%.
Operation occupations (Process, plant and machine operatives) and sales and customer service had the same gap, with men took over 15% lead to women. The complete opposite scenario happened to personal service aspect, while it was 14% for males and 3% for males, respectively.
