In the 15-24 age groups, Australian men took the lead with 52.8 percentage, which was approximately 5 percentage higher than women (47.7%, respectively). However, in the next four age groups, the percentage of men doing exercises went down to 42% and fluctuated in the 40 to 45 % range. Meanwhile, women started to rise gradually. The most striking figure was that 53.3 percentage of Australian female engaged in regular physical activity in the 45-54 age group. Both genders remained at 47 percentage in the last age group.
