In general, the figure for upper secondary was moved upwards. the figure for other kinds of that had some fluctuations over the timeline.

in terms of hours recorded in primary and lower secondary school were equally, respectively 600 hours over the period, while the amount of hours in upper secondary school in Spain was higher than the figure for japan, respectively 980 and 650 during the period. However, the figure for the remaining of Spain were equal categories compared to japan, with 600 hours per year.

Thereafter, the amount of hours taught at upper secondary in the USA reached a peak, at 1050 hours per year, which was the most common over the period. In addition, the figure for a primary school in Ireland was less common than in the USA, respectively 850 and 600 hours over the period, while the figure for lower secondary school was higher than in Ireland, respectively 1030 and 800 over the period.
