Overall, it is noticeable that between 1990 and 2010, there were decreasing trends of the proportions of British people who donated money to the first three age groups where the opposite is true for the rest of the groups.
In 1990, the percentage of the inhabitants who donated money to the age group 26-35 was higher than that in 2010 and the figures were 31% and 24% successively. On the other hand, in 2010, the proportion of the people of Great Britain, who donated money to the age groups 36-50 and above 65 was similar with 35%. In the year 1990, the percentage of UK nationals who donated money to the age group 65 and above was 32% and after 20 years it was increased by 3%. The proportion of British people donated to the age group 51-65 in 2010 was the highest with 39%. It is also clear that in both of the years, the proportions of British people who donated money to the age group 18-25 were minimum with 17% and 7% accordingly.
