The pie chart compares students in British university in terms of how many language they know except english in two different years 2000 and 2010.
Overall, in both years a one third of the total students did not know any other language except English.
In 2000, 30% of the students only know English, while a 20% know Spanish besides English. French and other language accounted for 15% each. The students who knows German or two another languages were 10% each in this year.
However after ten years, the figure for students who are only familiar with English saw a insignificant increase by 5% while the students know German other than English remained almost stable 10%. In contrast, there were changes for all the other categories, the percentage of students and students know two other languages reduced by 5%.. The figure for Spanish knowing students diminished by 10%. The students who know one more language except English rose to 20% from 15%.
