The given graphs compare the amount of money(in pence) spent by a person on a weekly basis on fast foods(hamburgers, fish and chips, and pizza) for three income groups( high, average, and low) along with their consumption trend over a period of three decades starting from 1970 in Britain.

Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the majority of high and average income Britishers consumed hamburgers. Also, over the period as a whole, hamburgers led the chart followed next by pizza. However, fish and chips experienced significant downfall.

According to the given illustration, the first group spent more than 40 pence on the hamburgers compared to just 33 and 14 pence by the average and the low salaried group. Also, the average group invested nearly one-fourth on fish and chips, up by 5 pence than the other groups. In addition, whilst the highest salaried group spent nearly 20 pence on pizza, merely half of that was invested by the other two groups.

Turning to the trends, although fish and chips stood at the top rank (300 grams) in 1970, the same witnessed a sharp plummet before rising to 230 grams. On the contrary, hamburger, and pizza started with the least value, however, the former went up dramatically by more than five times(550grams), followed by the latter at 280 grams just above the fish and chips' value.
