Overall, in 1990 the highest trips are done by walk while in 2010 it is done by car passenger. However, ca passenger was least popular in 1990. Trips done by walking and cycling has reduced in large amount in the given period.
There was huge increase in the trips around more than double by car passenger from 1990 to 2010. It started around over 4 million and reached to above 10 million. Having said that, in 1990 walking trips being done by children was over 12 million which reduced to 6 million.
Trips made by cycle was also decreased by approximate 4 million fro over 6 million. There was around 2.5 million reductions in trips of those who used to go to school by walking and bus. The least change has seen in bus transportation.
