The percentage of people who are outside their home for !t least once a week is just above 30% while those who ate out just a few times in the year were less than15%. 5% of the population never eat in fast-food restaurants. Similarly, in 2006, less than 5% go out to eat every day while roughly about 32% of people prefer to eat out once a week and less than 5% never went to a fast-food restaurant.
However, six years (2013) down the line, the pattern did not change for everyday goers but the proportion of people who to eat in fast-food restaurants at least once a week dropped significantly to about 27%. Those who go out once or twice a year increased considerably to over 30% compared to the years. Consistently, those who went to the restaurants a few times a year remained constant at 15% since 2006. Furthermore, about 4% never went to any fast-food restaurants.
