The given pie charts provide numerical data about the population of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and future plans for 2050. Overall, both these countries want the percentage of people whose age from 0-14 to decrease in the period of 2000 to 2050 but for the older people who are over 60 to increase more, whereas both countries have contradictory purposes for the increase and decrease of people in the age of 15 to 59.
It is easily indicated that in 2000, the proportion of Yemen teenagers was 50,1% and for Italy, it was too much lower: 14,3%. Therefore, Yemen and Italy decided to make this population group to decrease to 3-13% in 2050 proved by 37,0% and 11.5% for Yemen and Italian youngsters. Similarly, both nations aim for planning the growth of old-aged people in 2050 to 2-18% higher than in 2000. In addition, Italy had the majority of population was elderly people consisted of 24,1% in 2000 in compared to Yemen’s accounted for 3,6%. However, Yemen will increase to 11% for the group of average people. Whereas the people in that age group living in Italy will go down to 11% and in comparison to the percentage of Yemen average people in 2000, Italy was 11% higher.
