The charts given illustrate the ratio of sodium saturated fat and added sugar consumed in Americans' breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and it can be harmful if eaten plenty in quantity.
Overall, dinners and lunches that the USA residents consume are sodium and saturated fat rich. On the other hand, their snacks have a high portion of added sugar.
The first chart illustrates the intake of sodium by Americans. Their dinners have a massive 43% of sodium, higher than lunches with 29%, breakfasts and snacks with 14% each. The second chart outlines the amount of saturated fat that the citizens consume. The dinners once again have a high proportion of fat, followed by lunches with 26⁰%, snacks with 21% and breakfasts with 16%. The final chart shows the ratio of added sugar in these 4 typical meals. Unlike the two above, their snacks account for a hefty 42% of sugar, followed by 23%, 19%, 16% in dinners, lunches, breakfasts respectively. It is worth noting that these all 3 nutrients are much less consumed in breakfasts by Americans.
