The two bar charts depict mode of buying online tickets to theatre, concert or cinema online by three countries namely Australia, UK and Malaysia within age groups of 25 to 44 and 60 plus; along with another graph illustrating the means by which the tickets were bought like desktop, laptop or mobile phone.
All the three countries used online services to purchase tickets, with Australia and UK individuals in younger age groups using the online services proportionately higher compared to Malaysians. The most common way to buy tickets was seen by accessing desktops in all three countries, with lowest mode being mobile phones.
First graph details about 55% of individuals in Australia and UK were online ticket buys compared to only about 40 % Malaysians in age groups 25 to 44. However, individuals 65 plus were buying tickets online more than 40% in Malaysia but lower than Australians at 45 %.
Second bar graph shows Malaysia ranking highest in desktop usage to purchase, whilst only half of them use mobile phones. Similar trend is seen in UK and Australia, where the graph is lowered to half from desktop usage to laptop usage to purchase with more than 60 % desktop users lowering to around 30 % mobile phone users. However among the laptop users, UK scores the least with only 30% opting this mode to buy tickets, with Australia and Malaysia using 10%more compared to UK.
