The bar graph given below shows that the number of girls per 100 boys in all levels of education, which includes both developed and developing countries. The comparison of data reported on the basis of the year 1990 to 1998.

The primary education in developing countries has a higher rate for girls in both the years, whereas, in developing countries, it is changed and increased from 83 girls to 87 girls in 1998. In contrast, the secondary education provided to the girls in 1990 has slightly decreased rate as compared to primary education in developing countries and it has added 10 more girls in the next 8 years. While the developed countries have prominently touched the target rate by 98 girls and 99 girls in two comparative years.

Lastly, when we talk about the tertiary education the rate of giving education to the girls in this sector is relatively low as compare to other two sectors, the developing countries have only 66 girls over 100 boys in the 1990 and acquire lesser 25 girls as compared to the target in 1998. However, the developed countries had drastically highest rate in this sector and also among all three sectors which crossed the target ratio by 105 girls in the year 1990 and more 7 girls added in 1998.

In conclusion, the developing countries had the lowest rate of girls in all three levels of education as compared to developed countries.
