The line graph provided compares how many packages delivered by two main mail services corporations which are FedEx and TNT during the eighty-year-period from 1920 to 2000.
According to the line graph, it is apparent from the data supplied that in the first year FedEx delivered a higher number of parcels than TNT but since 1960, TNT's number of packets delivered had risen vastly and excelled FedEx during the following years.
Regarding the first forty years, it can be noticed easily that at the beginning, customers chose FedEx to transport their parcels more than TNT, in 1920 there were 15000 parcels delivered by FedEx while TNT just sent 5000. In the next twenty years, FedEx witnessed a dramatical increase in their number of delivered parcels rising for approximately 10000 packets and reaching its peak at 25000 in 1940. During the same period, TNT company could just transport around 2500 packages more. But everything had changed for the next twenty years, whereas TNT's number of parcels delivered each year continued to climb throughout the period and accounted for over 10000 in 1960, FedEx's figures hit the lowest point at the same numbers.
When it comes to the following forty years, THT's features showed an upward trend and skyrocketed to approximately 25000 parcels transported in 2000 after showing some fluctuation between 1960 and 1980. During the same period, the number of packets delivered by FedEx grew steadily before falling gradually to around 17500 packages in 2000.
