Overall, it can be clearly seen that several changes were made at west park secondary school over the period of sixty years (1950-1980-2010)
In 1950, west park secondary school had limited resources but that was drastically upgraded in 1980, three new facilities were added to the premises such as a car park in the west, a new science block, as well as a sports field in the southwest corner and the school had turned into the main building. However, the rest of the facilities such as the main road playing ground remained unchanged.
In the year 2010 sports field and playground merged together and shrunken in the northeast corner, whilst car parking area had been extended and covered the entire east side as well as the north side of the park and it covered almost 60 % of total area whereas school main building, main road and science block remained unchanged in 2010.
