The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three
companies over a period of 15 years
The chart compares the tonnages of waste discarding from the production of companies A, B, and C from 2000 to 2015.
In general, there were significant changes in the amounts of waste produced by all three companies. While companies A and B tended to cut down in waste output, company C's data reflected a completely opposite producing pattern.
It is clear that although there was an obvious effort in waste reducing, company A still ranked highest when it comes to waste output concern during almost the entire period. This number was 12 tones of waste produced in 2000 and gradually decline to around 8 tones after 15 years, which was still approximately double the output of company B at the same time. Company B appeared to follow a similar trend to reduce waste produced after reaching a peak of roughly 10 tones in 2005. By the end of the period, company B became the lowest waste-producing among threes with only 4 tones output. In contrast, there was a considerable increase in waste produced by company C right at the beginning, turning it from the one which initially produced the least waste into the most waste produced company by the period end, passing company A's waste output even before that.
