To begin, in the 1980s, elderly people who surfed the Internet was only around 5%.also about 20% of the people were interested in hiking and only less than a third were into reading. The figures for individuals who preferred cinema was around 50%, whereas, three-fifths of the people preferred watching TV.
In the 1990s, the proportion of hiking and reading rose to 40%, but by the end of the period the figures for hiking increased to 80%, while reading only rose to 60%. Compared to the past, in the 2010s the percentage of elderly people who went to cinema declined to 45%,whereas the amount of Internet surfers increased to 50%. Finally, those who watched TV was around 65%.
