A glimpse at the bar chart given compares the changing pattern of employment that registered in six nations in 1995 and 2005 grouping by their genders. All in all, there was a growth in the employment rate.
As shown in the information registered by male, the employment rate in Iceland was highest, numbering at 83% and 71% for 1995 and 2005 respectively. Likewise, a similar growth was witnessed in Switzerland and Australia. Noteworthy is the fact that the data of UK, NewZealand and the US differed significantly in 1995, while the number of each of the three nations were practically identical in 2005 at 70%.
In stark contrast, the female employment rate, however, was remarkably lower than their male counterparts. The greatest disparity was revealed in NewZealand in 1995, whereby the employment rate of women was halved of their male counterparts. Meanwhile, the employment ratio of women in Switzerland was persistently the highest amount six nations throughout this period.
Overall, men, to a considerable extent, were more easily to get hired from 1995 to 2005.
