Norway has the highest proportion which is more than 60% starting from slightly more than 60% in 2000 and increased over the period ended with almost 80% in 2007. Whereas, Australia has the lowest amount which is below 10%.
Even though Iceland stands as the second highest and 50% to 60% in proportion, it has a reducing trend after 2004.
Germany has the proportion below 20% but still, it shows an increasing nature over the period.
Iceland and Australia had about 50% and 8% renewable energy of the total supply in 2004, the number after that went up to almost 60% and 10% in 2004 and all fell back to 55% and 9% in 2007. The figure of Iceland was approximately 5 times higher compared to Australia and 1,5 times lower than Norway.
