The graph shows the consumption of four types of diary products in the USA

The plot illustrates consumption figures of four types of dairy products (cheese, yogurt, low-fat ice cream, and full-fat ice cream) in the USA between 1970 and 2010.
Overall, even though full-fat ice cream had the highest consumption figures at the beginning of the period, it showed a gradual decay after, and was surpassed by cheese consumption. In addition, the yogurt ingestion rate rose and overtook low-fat ice cream figures, which declined by the end of the survey.
In 1970, the full-fat ice cream comprised a little over 10 pounds per person, slightly overtaking cheese’s figures by approximately 5 units. Then, the figures started to show a downward trend with little fluctuations, reaching 8-9 units in 2010. On the other hand, cheese consumption demonstrated a steep growth with a peak of roughly 23 at the end of the period.
The amount of yogurt consumed started a gradual rise from almost none in 1970 to a slightly under 10 pounds per person in 2010. In contrast, low-fat ice cream showed only a little fluctuations around its initial value of 4-5 grams per person.
