The provided infographics illustrated the data about UK citizens’ employment in terms of their competence in English recorded in 2013
Overall, it was estimated that 25.7 million individuals with ages between 16 and 64 were working. Professional, technical, elementary and skilled trades were four common types of occupations of employed people.
It can be apparently seen from the infographics that the proportion of employed individuals using English as their mother tounge was the highest of three levels of proficiency. While the employment statistics for citizens having a proficiency in English and those who did not were 65,4% and 48,3% , respectively.In addition, the ratios of male owning jobs was higher than those recorded in female group.
In respect of the most popular jobs surveyed in theee different categories of English capacities, most of the occupations requiring professional and technical skills were done by people with English as their most-used language respectively 17,7% and 13,2%. The figure for elementary workers saw in non-proficient in English inhabitants were 38,2%, which was nearly doubled the data witnessed in employees with compentent English. Whilst, 17,1% of occupied people with proficient English capability had professional occupations, the percentage of non-competent English users in field of trading was 21,1%
