The line graph provides information regarding the quantity of coffee exports over three different parts of the world namely Brazil, Colombia and Costa Rica from 2002 to 2012 in a 10 year period and is measured in millions of kilograms. Overall it is immediately apparent that, despite some fluctuations, over the period as a whole the coffee exportation increased gradually in all three regions.
Looking carefully, Costa Rica exported the highest amount of coffee in 2002, which was 15 million kilograms. The quantity of coffee exports in the same year by Brazil was approximately 7 million and finally, around 5 million kilograms of coffee was shipped by Colombia. Over the next following four years, Brazil as well as Colombia managed to trade more coffee than previous years, while it dipped in case of Costa Rica. However, the export figures of Brazil and Costa Rica followed a similar trend from 2006 to 2012, increasing steadily to 20 million (Costa Rica) and 25 million (Brazil). On the contrary, Colombia witnessed a speedy collapse to 2008, when exports hit a low of approximately 2.5 million, but then it jumped dramatically to end the period at 15 million per year.
