Oil use of major consumers
The amount of oil kegs used each day by four main regions, namely US, Western Europe and Japan, China, Middle East, over the 21-year period from 2009 to 2030 is depicted in the line chart. Generally, oil consumption in Middle East and China is expected an increase whilst that of the other two regions is predicted a decrease during the period shown.
There was a completely opposite in daily oil consumption between Middle East and Western Europe & Japan. In 2009, nearly 4 million kegs and 2 million kegs used per day by former and latter, respectively. In the next 16 years, evaluations reveal that the figure of Western Europe & Japan will decline while Middle East will rise and both of them will encounter at around 3 million kegs in late 2025. After that, it is forecast that the figures will continue to evolve according to previous its trends, the former will use just over 2 million kegs and approximately 3 million kegs for the latter.
