The given maps demonstrates what is like in the central area of a little town named Islip now and how this area will be upgraded in the future.
Regarding to the first map , there is a main road hooking up with shops and the park together, seperating the countryside school and the housing on each side.
As for the second one, a series of modifications will occur this little town. Obviously, bus station, shopping centre , car park and new housing are going to be grouped in the area where belonging to both country side coutryside. Besides , the main road usded to be between the shops is about to converted into pedestrians only .Futhermore, to promote the transportation of the town centre, the main road will be developed into the dual carrageway,which not only provides direct access for the new housing near the car park, but also cuirculates whole town centre. At last, the area of the park is planning to shrink dramatically for the places used for the new housing.
To sum up , although school and housing will stay unchanged after planned development , the other parts of this little town will be modified noticably.
