The charts illustrate how much money did household spend on the five different categories in the Japan and Malaysia in 2010.
Overall, It is viewed that, other goods and services accounted for the largest proportion in Japan but housing occupied the largest percentage in Malaysia. However, both countries spent lesser amount on health care.
To begin, Japanese household spent almost a quarter on housing while in Malaysia, housing stood at 34% and recorded as the majority proportion. Then, household expend approximately 29% on other goods and services in japan whereas in Malaysia, other goods and services laid at just above a quarter. Subsequently, Japanese household made 20% on transport but in Malaysia, household spent a half of Japan.
Household spent almost equal amount on food in Japan and Malaysia, subjected for 24% and 27% respectively. As can be seen, there was a mere minority on health care in both countries under 10%.
