post-school qualifications in Australia 1999
The bar below illustrated the percentage of Higher Education Student in Australia throughout 1999 based on gender or sex. The Higher Education are divided into five degrees, i.e. vocational, undergraduate, bachelor, postgraduate, as well as master degree.
In general, men student became a majority in three degrees, than undergraduate and bachelor were dominate by women. Nevertheless, in Vocational degree there are an extreme gap between the percentage of men and women, which is only one in ten student is a woman. On the contrary, even though the undergraduate diploma absorbed plethora of women, albeit men are around 35% inside.
Furthermore, the percentage of men and women student in bachelor degree are more equal then others. Instead women as a majority, yet they just reached around 5% exceeded the number of men.
In a nutshell, the data showed almost degrees men and women have a significant number of seats, except in Skilled Vocational Diploma.
