Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer
nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the
responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their
citizens themselves?
You should write at least 250 words.
In the era of globalization, when developed nations are self-sufficient to fulfill the needs of their own people, the courtesy and ethical values demand a sense of healthy favor being provided to those who are less fortunate in managing even basic amenities. It is often said that prosperity spreads with united actions. Although a section of society considers governments of the poor nations to be accountable for their conditions, I stand in favor of the former statement and think that irrespective of any differences the wealthy nations should offer a hand of help for the betterment of the world as a whole.
It is normally seen that rich countries are well equipped with the required ammunition in the context of the high-tech health care system, standardized educational resources, and sufficient funds. In such a scenario, their timely help can contribute to a colossal difference in their development path. However, on the flip side, this assistance can be misused in the wrong ways. For example, some under-developed countries use these crucial funds to disturb their competitive countries instead of using it in favor of their peoples' needs. Hence, a factor of caution is needed while offering such assistance.
On the other hand, ignoring the poor nations just due to certain factors is not advisable. As if wealthy nations will not come ahead then the disturbing groups can mislead the young generation into various criminal activities, which can result in chaos in the entire world. For instance, many international criminals are a result of a lack of educational and basic facilities. Moreover, who knows if the world can find another researcher or a scientist hidden among such nations.
To conclude, the views on whether poor nations should be assisted by the wealthy ones vary to a greater extent. However, in my opinion, an intelligent approach can play a pivotal role in the progressive path of a healthy nation worldwide.
