From an overall perspective, it is apparent that teachers from Luxembourg received the highest paid, while teachers in Australia had the lowest paid. Additionally, it took the shortest time for Denmark teachers to reach the maximum salaries.
In Luxembourg, teachers received wages starting at $80,000 and $119,000 for teachers who worked for 15 years. In addition, it took 30 years for them to reach the maximum income at $132,000. Meanwhile, Australian teachers received $28,000 for the first years, while the figure for that in Denmark was $45,000. It took 9 years for Australian and 8 years for Denmark teachers to have the highest income, which is $48,000 and $54,000 respectively.
Teachers from Japan had the starting paid at $34,000, which is $4,000 higher than that in Korea. After 15 years working, Japanese and Korean teachers were paid $65,000 and $48,000 correspondingly. To receive the maximum wage at $86,000, teachers in Japan must have at least 37 years experience. Additionally, the highest income for teachers in Korea is $62,000 a year, which took 34 years to earn.
