The two given maps compare the changes in a small island before and after modernising to become a tourist attraction.
In the first map, it is clear to see that the island was almost empty. In detail, to the East and the West, some trees were planted, while its centre zone had nothing.
After being equipped with many tourist facilities, although the island's length and the trees remained unchanged, the island witnessed significant advancements in all parts. To specify, in the south, there was a pier built for visitors from the sailboats access to the island. Also, a vehicle track was constructed to guide them to a reception house and a restaurant in the central area. Moreover, to both sides of those buildings, several accommodations sprang up and connected with each other and with the reception by a footpath. Besides, there was also a path to the beach in the west of the island where they can swim in the sea.
In conclusion, it is undeniable that after facility development, the island changed remarkably to be an attractive destination for people to visit.
