The maps illustrate the entrance to city hospital before and after refurbishment in 2007 and 2010 respectively.
Overall, a distiunguishing feature is pre- renovations in 2007 bustops were scattered even in the car park, whereas post refurbishment it was neatly built up and separated from the car park. Before renovations were done, entrance to the city hospital had no roundabout compared to 2010 post refurbishment.
It can clearly be seen that in 2007 before restructuring, motorist from the city road turn into hospital road, then turn right into a parking space where both hospital staff and visitors use. In 2010 two traffic cycle were put in place before entering the City hospital. The round abouts are split into two, one from city road as you enter hospital road and the other one after hospital road as you join ring road to the parking bays.
The parking space is now labelled separately, on the south of the hospital you find staff parking , whereas visitors' parking is on the east of the hospital. As highlighted on the map, before renovations bustop were on the west and east along hospital road, whilst in 2010 it was neatly built and now located on the west of hospital road after the first traffic cycle.
To sumup, initially there were no roundabouts before restructuring but in 2010, two traffic cycles were constructed. It is also of note that you still turn right into ring road to access parking post renovations
