The line graph illustrates the number of passengers at a different time of the day in an underground station in London.
Overall, it can be seen from the given illustration that there are two major peaks of people; one in the morning and the other is in the evening. While the number of people fluctuates through the rest of the day, there may be a busy hour in the middle of the day.
Given a close look at the data, the lowest number of people in the station which is 100, can be seen as early as 6.00 am and also at 16.00 pm. In the morning the figure soon climbs to a peak of 400 at 8.00 am similar to another peak of just close to 400 at 18.00 pm. Likewise, the number of people shows a sharp decline after both peak and reaches below 200 at 10.00 am and 125 at 20.00 pm respectively.
On the other hand, the rest of the day depicts fluctuation in passenger’s number. After 10.00 am, the number starts rising gradually and hits 300 at 14.00 pm before a sharp drop of 100. The passenger number decreases significantly after 20.00 pm.
