Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to acknowledge the efforts of one of your hotel staff members: Mr. Peterson Albama, who helped me find my laptop. I was visiting London because of the official work; therefore, I stayed at your hotel from the 1st of July 2019 to 3rdof July 2019.
During my stay, I was working with the clients on a confidential report for the financial year 2020-2021. However, In the evening, I went for a swim in the hotel’s swimming pool and left my laptop on the side table; but, when I returned to the room, I could not find it where I initially kept it. I panicked and immediately contacted the security members; they checked all the surveillance cameras and found an unidentified member leaving my room. Subsequently, Mr. Peterson assured me as his brother was in police services, and he worked the whole night to identify and catch the culprit.
I was finally relieved as it could have ended my career and sabotaged the company’s reputation. I would request you to give him recognition in terms of monetary benefits and if possible, a promotion to encourage other members to be diligent towards their duty.
Yours faithfully,
Simran Khatri
