There is a problem in the road outside your house.
Write a letter to your local councilor. In your letter
introduce yourself
explain what the problem is
tell the councilor what you would like to be done
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you about a road issue which is outside my house on Avenue Road.
My name is Ricky Tran, and I have been living at number 26 Avenue Road for 13 years. I have never had any complaint to the council before.
Two weeks ago, a plothole appeared on the road in front of my house. I mean it is a large hole and on a rainy day, the hole is filled with water, so it might be dangerous for drivers who are not paying enough attention. The pothole is also an eyesore for those who are living in the vicinity.
I have tried to call to the council offices so many time, but nothing has been done. So, I would like to request you can address this matter as soon as possible.
I look forward to the problem being resolved.
Yours faithfully.
Ricky Tran
