Dear Mr James,
I am writing this letter to inform you about my study plans and to seek approval from you for work-off for few weeks, though not all at a stretch.
As we discussed last month that I had applied for Post Graduate Program in Data Anlaytics at IIM Bangalore. I am very pleased to let you know that my application is accepted for program starting June 2019. Also, LOR written by you added weightage to my case.
Considering I cannot support full time education I have applied for PGP in DA which is mix of online and classroom based course for a year. Most of classes are online but every quarter there will be one week classroom sessions. Program schedule is released and following are the dates of classroom sessions.
2nd week of June'2019
2nd week of Sep'2019
2nd week of Dec'2019
2nd week of Mar'2019
I will be grateful if you could approve off from work during those days. As these days are declared much in advance, I am sure I can manage work and will ensure that there is no impact to the project I am working on due to my absence during those days.
I am very hopeful that this course will help to gain in-depth knowledge about data analytics which is again a core function of my delivery vertical. After completing this course, I will be better equipped to deliver more for our organization.
I am looking forward to your positive response. Thanks in anticipation.
Best regards,
Laura
