Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you and your family well. Firstly, I want to apologize that I am writing to you after a long time.
As you know, I recently shifted to Canada; I have been busy making arrangements for the new house since my arrival. Life here is quite different from India because the weather is extremely rough, and also I have to travel thirty miles to the office daily. Although traveling consumes a lot of time, I enjoy it the most due to the natural beauty of Canada. The cost of living is high, so I am planning to do a part-time job soon.
After a lot of consideration, I felt that Canada could provide me the opportunity to develop my career as a software engineer, thereby choosing it for permanent residency. Moreover, I got a chance to work at the Google headquarters here with relatively high remuneration and advanced technologies as compared to India. These factors were the primary reasons for selecting Canada rather than any other country.
I would like to invite you to Canada and stay with me for some time. Please write back soon, awaiting for your response.
Best regards,
Deepak
