You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir,
Allow me to introduce myself. my name is Saad Mubarak and I am a 1st-year computer engineering student staying in room 1003 which I am sharing with another student. I am writing this letter in reference to inform you of the current problems I am facing with this arrangement which is effecting my work.
To elucidate my roommate invites his friends to late night parties additionally he plays loud music when I am studying and sometimes he uses my laptop without even asking my permission. I have requested him in a polite manner to stop doing such activities especially during the examination days as it affects my preparation but he rudely responds to me and ignores me completely. I have been very patient with him for the past semester but now my patience is running out due to the poor grades I received in the last semester.
Thus I would request you to either provide him with a counselling session or provide me with a separate room so that it can provide me with a peaceful environment for studying.
I look forward to an immediate response in this matter.
Yours sincerely
saad
