Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter
explain the reasons for the noise
apologise
describe what action you will take
Dear Mr. John,
I hope you are doing well.
I am Nancy, one of your neighbours, residing in 121 sweet, writing this letter to explain the reason of loud noises coming from our house, which are indeed disturbing everybody these days.
Firstly, I want to apologise for this and let me explain my situation in detail. Well, one of our washroom's pipes is leaking , wetting the whole floor, making us unable to use washrooms. As you know, there are two kids in our house , so there is huge risk of falling on the wet floor. So, we are repairing it immediately , which requires the use of noisy equipments . However, It has been two days to repair because there is a complete change of pipes that is deep inside ground, which further require two more days to finish.
Moreover, complete replacement of pipes is necessary, so I request you to understand our situation , though we will try to minimize the noise by keeping the windows closed. Please pardon us for the inconvinience .
Best regards,
Nancy.
